RUSS PAYNE
This is a little page that just talks about me and my history with the Jack
Nicklaus Golf series.
My name is Russ Payne and I am 16 years old. I have played Jack Nicklaus golf since about 1998 when I first purchased the game Jack Nicklaus 4. I played and designed for JN4 until around the Summer of 2000 when I first purchased Jack Nicklaus 6, Golden Bear Challenge. I was amazed after first playing the game and still today believe this is the best golf simulation on the market.
Still today I design for Golden Bear Challenge and continue to design many new collaborations of both real and fictional courses. I currently play GBC regularly on the MSN Gaming Zone, and also on the JN6 Buy.com Tour. I plan on opening a tour of my own for the months of November-April very shortly.
As for my personal information, I live in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and have a strong passion for the game of golf in real life. I play almost every day and currently have a 3 handicap. My other interests include downhill skiing, snowboarding, football, spending time with friends...I also love music (mostly classical rock).
